The blobfish. So majestic. So elegant.... Ahahaha just kidding! It's been named the ugliest thing in the ocean by many. But as weird as it seems... I think it's so ugly it's cute. But they look sad that they're so ugly! =( They are mostly composed of gelatin and are slightly less dense than the water around it, so they just float around just above the ocean floor like the little blobs that they are. And since they are mostly gelatin and have a very little muscle content, they just eat whatever floats their way and don't really make an effort to go after their prey .
So there you have your interesting animal fact of the day. You must be thrilled. =)
