Flowers

Here is a painting of flower I did a few weeks ago. It isn't very good, just like most of the things that I do, but I will keep practicing! Someday I will be good!! :)

I really love using flowers as subjects in my art, especially in photography. They are just so colorful and happy and beautiful. Each different kind of flower reminds me of a person that I know; Corrin is a jasmine, my aunt Diana is a morning glory, my brother parker reminds me of rosemary flowers... and so on it goes. If you know me and you aren't listed here, feel free to ask me. :)

This next picture is a drawing I did with inspiration from my friend Corrin. I suppose it looks like her a bit, but it isn't supposed to look exactly like her. :)

this is one of my favorite still life drawings that I have done. Personally, I love the technique of toning your paper before you draw. It totally saves time because it gives you your basic shade and so all you have to do is darken and lighten areas when you are done . My art teacher, Mrs.Garcia, introduced this method to me. Thank you Mrs. Garcia! :)

ok, well, since i will not be posting any art up yet, I will just make this a random blog for a while with just a bunch of funny, interesting, or just plain cool stuff. Well, this is the town where I live. Truly beautiful it is. This, obviously, is a shot of the lake. Sadly this photograph is not my own, as my camera is broken, as I stated earlier. I must say that this photo was beautifully timed though. Congrats to whoever took it!

Hello people of Earth and possibly Mars, And welcome to my blog! I am pretty new at this "blogging" thing, so cut me some slack for a while please. :) Oh, not to mention that my camera is broken, so I probably will not be adding any photos I take or pictures of my art for a while.
